The Super Bowl of Life.

Football occasionally features the great pass, but more often it is the bread-and-butter effort of the short gain, culminating in a series of first downs.

Football fans count it pure joy. Christian life is comparable.

We often long for the spiritual "fix" of a mountain-top experience. God in His grace affords us this blessing...sometimes. But HIS love is nothing if not lavished upon us in the daily routine, if not experienced amid the mundane, if not acquired through the tough times. Our spiritual life builds one or two spiritual "yards" at a time.

God's Kingdom advances, slowly, even imperceptibly, always fruitfully: One soul, one mission, one act of love at a time.

The truth of the Gospel advances before the opposition of the world, the flesh, and the devil...one spiritual step at a time.

By following the Jesus Game Plan, we will be prepared for an even more magnificent game in God's Presence, with the saints on one side, the angels on the other. We'll find out who can praise God more, and believe me, there won't be any losers!
